Country’s green caravan parks rewarded
I wrote this news story when freelancing for Caravan magazine in September 2008. The park owners took pride in their wild areas of grassland, teeming with insects and butterflies, which many other land owners would have landscaped over to create more pitches and revenue. As somebody from the Sussex countryside, who grew up planting trees and raising chicks, ducklings, tadpoles and larvae at school, their story certainly lifted my spirits.
